Roads, water, sanitation, and general infrastructure upkeep for a town that runs largely on Sweetums-brand sugar and civic pride.
What We Do
Public Works handles the unglamorous but essential side of city government: roads, sewage, water treatment, and one persistent issue involving the Sweetums Candy Factory's runoff pipe.
Infrastructure
Pothole repair, sidewalk maintenance, and snow removal, scheduled around whichever crisis City Hall considers more urgent that week.
Utilities
Municipal water treatment and waste collection. We are aware the river occasionally runs an unusual shade of blue. We are looking into it.
Facilities
Upkeep of City Hall, the community center, and every municipal building unfortunate enough to host a public forum.

Water Division
We are aware of the recurring blue tint near the Sweetums outflow. A strongly worded letter has, once again, been sent to the factory.
Road Crew
Repairs scheduled for next month, budget permitting. Please continue to drive around it in the meantime, as everyone already does.

Please use the stairs, or the extremely long ramp around the back that nobody remembers exists.
