City Services

Departments

Pawnee's city government is organized into a small number of departments, each doing considerably more work than its budget suggests. Browse below to find the office responsible for your permit, complaint, or raccoon-related emergency.

Department 01

Parks & Recreation

The heart of Pawnee's government. Responsible for public parks, community programs, the Harvest Festival, and one very long-running pit-to-park construction project.

Departments not listed here are handled informally, or not at all

City Council

Meets Second Tuesdays

Public forums are open to all residents. Speaking time is technically capped at two minutes. This is rarely enforced.

City Hall

The Fourth Floor

Not a department so much as a rumor. Records go up, records rarely come back down. Staffed, as far as anyone can tell, by exactly one court stenographer.
