A proposed expansion of the downtown mini-golf course was tabled at Tuesday’s council meeting after members raised questions about parking, noise, and what one council member called “an unusually aggressive windmill hole.”
The proposal, submitted through the Planning & Zoning permit process, would add six new holes and a small pro shop. Supporters say it would draw visitors downtown on weekends; opponents cited concerns about traffic on already-congested Sanders Avenue.
The item will return to the agenda next month, pending an updated traffic study. Public comment remains open in the meantime through the City Clerk’s office.
